Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Make-Ready Technician in Birmingham, AL to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will perform painting, repairs, fixture replacements, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, and cleaning to ensure move-in readiness.

Work with Maintenance and Property Management, adhere to safety standards, and support ongoing repairs. Requires 1 year of relevant experience and a valid driver's license. Onsite schedule, Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready turnover including painting, repairs, fixtures, appliance testing, HVAC filters, flooring, and cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards before move-in.
• Support maintenance team with repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with safety standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members throughout the community.
