Job summary

Two Coast Living is hiring a Make-Ready Technician in Charlotte, NC to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will perform painting, repairs, fixture replacements, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring touch-ups, and cleaning to ensure move-in readiness.

The role works on-site, Monday–Friday, with potential on-call duties. Minimum 1 year in maintenance or make-ready is required; a high school diploma or GED is necessary, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in general maintenance, handyman, or make-ready/turnover work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready tasks: painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards before move-in.
• Assist maintenance team with ongoing repairs and general upkeep.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area per safety standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and teammates during tasks across the community.
