Job summary

Community Reinvestment Initiatives, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Maintenance/Refurbishment Technician to maintain rental properties and refurbish vacant units to move-in ready condition.

The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring, carpentry and general upkeep across multiple sites. Responsibilities include inspections, diagnosing issues, writing reports, coordinating with vendors, driving between properties, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in property maintenance.
• Experience in painting, flooring, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC.
• Ability to inspect properties and assess maintenance needs.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and maintain equipment safely.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks at rental properties including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring and general cleaning.
• Conduct refurbishment repairs on vacant properties to move-in ready condition.
• Perform full property inspections of structure, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Write timely reports and material lists for maintenance needs.
• Drive to multiple locations and coordinate with PCRI staff.
• Ensure safety and code compliance; follow instructions.
