Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at The Anson in Nashville, TN. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and help turn apartments for move-ins.

You’ll work onsite with a collaborative team, enjoy growth opportunities, generous benefits, a rent discount of 50%, and an hourly pay rate of $22.00–$24.00 with monthly bonuses based on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns and make units ready for move-in.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• May train other Maintenance Technicians and support skills development.
• May assist with vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary with team needs and season.
