Job summary

Two Coast Living in Lombard, IL is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents by performing maintenance, minor repairs, and cosmetic updates to company standards. You will help ensure every unit is move-in ready and make a strong first impression for new residents.

The role collaborates with Maintenance and Property Management and may support general maintenance across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance, handyman, or make-ready/turnover experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work: painting, repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring touch-ups, general cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards prior to move-in.
• Support maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment per safety standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members across the property.
