The Move-In Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and Leasing and Sales and Leasing Counselor with transitioning depositors into the Community and other aspects of leasing functions at the Community. The Move-In Coordinator assists depositor and family members through good communication skills, organization, creativity and prioritization of tasks. He or she must maintain positive relationships with competing businesses, professionals, and organizations in the local area and helps transition new residents into the community and coordinate admission.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residentsDeveloping relationship with new depositors and create transition planHelps manage the admissions process to ensure resident and family satisfactionReview floor plans and assist in planning furniture layoutHelps maintain a network of referral sources, providing information via marketing materials or presentations as neededDiligently works toward the completion of special projects, requests, and assignments as appropriateProvide support to other Marketing Team Members for the effective and timely follow-up of the databaseAssist in management of Resident Referral ProgramPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications & Physical Requirements:Basic working knowledge of sales marketing skills as related to senior housingDemonstrates customer service skills and desire to work in a service oriented environmentExcellent public speaking, communication, and presentation skillsStrong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suiteAssumes personal accountability of assigned duties and completes task in a timely and accurate mannerAbility to define specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely goals and objectivesAble to clearly present information, accurately communicate, provide necessary level of detail even under stressful or demanding conditionsAble to work a flexible schedule, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEducation & Experience:College degree in Marketing or a related field preferredAt least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferredThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
