Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company in Chattanooga seeks a Mounter Trainee to support plate preparation for Flexographic jobs. You will learn to set up and operate the mounter, prep equipment for production, and assist in training others while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

You will evaluate quality, troubleshoot issues, and report concerns to supervision. Overtime may be required during busy periods, and you must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the mounter.
• Learn skills to operate assigned machinery.
• Prep machine for the next production run.
• Evaluate production quality and report concerns to supervisor.
• Assist in training other mounter personnel.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work safely and efficiently per company policies.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
