Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington state is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic II to inspect and service our fleet of buses and heavy equipment. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and repair engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems with limited supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of maintenance experience; a CDL Class B with air brake is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to operate in a mountainous environment.
• CDL Class B with air brake endorsement preferred.
• Ability to ski/snowboard experience is preferred for on-mountain work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine defects in fleet equipment.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of engine codes (OBD-II).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Change oil and filters, service brakes, and repair hydraulic components as needed.
• Assist with more complex repairs and training of junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate logs and inventory of parts and work performed.
