Qualifications

  • PSIA-AASI Level III minimum; PSIA AASI ED Staff preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in instruction, coaching, or training.
  • Experience in staff development and training delivery.
  • Leadership competencies including safety culture, accountability, and communication.
  • Strong movement analysis and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive seasonal training plan across all disciplines.
  • Align training with PSIA-AASI standards, LCM, and Assessment Criteria.
  • Develop progression pathways for instructors; lead on-snow and indoor training.
  • Provide structured feedback using movement analysis and SBI model; mentor staff.
  • Develop and maintain safety guidelines and SOPs; lead safety training.
  • Monitor staff injuries and workers’ compensation cases; analyze injury trends.

This role ensures alignment with PSIA-AASI standards while driving consistency in lesson quality, safety practices, and guest experience.
