Job summary

Stio in Jackson Hole, WY or Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to own organic social planning, hands-on content creation, and athlete collaboration. As a DTC-first brand, this role unlocks authentic, creator-driven content that brings the Stio brand to life across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Stories; you operate in the field with the brand.

This role is a creator and operator, requiring 2–4 years of hands-on content creation and social management

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on content creation and social media management experience, preferably in outdoor or lifestyle brands.
• Experience briefing and directing creative contractors or video production partners.
• Experience working with athletes on content deliverables and relationship coordination.
• Have a genuine interest in mountains and active outdoor pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of all Stio social media channels, including scheduling, posting, community management, and optimization.
• Translate brand campaigns into on-brand content across platforms.
• Create in-the-moment social content (short-form video, stories) in field at events and productions.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop social-first content feeding paid media.
• Serve as the brand’s online voice, engaging with the community and upholding values.
• Monitor trends and platform updates to identify timely opportunities.
• Source and manage UGC from the Stio community and athlete network.
• Support content capture at activations and events to drive reach and growth.
