Job summary

STIO is seeking a Social Media & Content Manager based in Jackson Hole, WY or Salt Lake City, UT. You will own organic social planning, hands-on content creation, and collaborate with the athlete program to deliver creator-driven content that brings the Stio brand to life across social channels.

This role is a creator and operator, moving through backcountry terrain and events, with ~20% travel. 2–4 years in content creation and social media at outdoor brands is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on content creation and social media management.
• Experience briefing and directing creative contractors or partners.
• Experience with athletes on content deliverables and relationship coordination.
• Active in mountain lifestyle activities for authentic content.
• Strong organization and multi‑relationship management.
• Comfortable shooting on iPhone with editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of all Stio social media channels.
• Translate brand campaigns into on-brand content across platforms.
• Create authentic social content (short-form video, stories, live).
• Collaborate with video production partners for social assets.
• Engage with community and foster a positive brand voice.
• Source athlete-generated content and manage asset library.
• Support MTJ editorial content with athlete contributions.
