Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington State seeks Ski/Snowboard Instructors (Non-Certified - Level 5) for seasonal, full-time, hourly work. Location: Crystal Mountain, WA. Teaching wage range: $22.00–$41.25 DOE and Certifications; Non-Teaching wage: $20.00.

Approximate season: Nov 27, 2026 – Apr 18, 2027; orientation dates: Nov 23–25. As an instructor you will teach lessons to students of all ages and abilities, focusing on safety, guest service, and passion for snow sports.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willingness and ability to work with children and adults.
Experience with 4- to 12-year-old children in educational settings preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Able to take direction and work well in a team.
Intermediate skiing or riding ability with a strong desire to learn.
Teaching, coaching or mentoring experience preferred.
Seek continuing educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality instruction in private and group settings for guests of all ages and ability levels with emphasis on safety.
Attend HR training and on-snow/on-line training.
Adhere to Crystal Mountain safety policies.
Be a positive ambassador of Crystal Mountain and the Ski & Ride School.
Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and management.
Attend designated meeting times on scheduled workdays.
Assist with lesson grouping, setup/teardown, lesson records and incident reports.
Pursue professional development through Crystal Mountain training and PSIA-AASI opportunities.
