Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States (California) is seeking a Winter Seasonal Store Supervisor to lead daily operations in our mountain retail stores. This role oversees scheduling, payroll, and performance while ensuring exceptional guest service and product knowledge.

Housing is not provided; this is a full-time seasonal opportunity with potential for extension. The position requires 1–3 years of retail supervision experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or store operations is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with supervising a small team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, monitor performance and budget, including scheduling and payroll.
• Maintain daily records for performance, sales, inventory, and equipment rentals.
• Assist manager in monitoring budgets and payroll.
• Assist in recruiting and maintaining staff.
• Hire and train employees in POS operation, product knowledge, guest service, and loss prevention.
• Provide feedback and direction to the team; recognize and correct performance.
• Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Manage inventory and meet goals.
• Participate in leadership forums to improve store performance and training.
• Other duties including merchandising and rentals.
