Job summary

Wild Horse Inn in the Rocky Mountains seeks a Lodge Manager to lead daily operations across front-of-house, housekeeping, events, and catering. You will ensure memorable guest experiences and oversee reservations, staff, and vendor relationships during weddings, retreats, and other gatherings.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in hospitality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance guest services with back-of-house logistics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of management experience in hospitality, events, or lodge/resort settings.
• Experience in hotel, inn, or bed and breakfast operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage reservations, schedules, inventory and events efficiently.
• Food safety certification and/or experience managing food and beverage service preferred.
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house operations including check-in/check-out and concierge services.
• Manage reservations, cancellations and accommodations to maximize occupancy.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, cabins, and common areas.
• Maintain outdoor spaces such as hot tub and firepits to standard.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks or coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain security of the facility.
• Prepare and serve breakfast or other meals, accommodating dietary needs.
• Organize and host weddings or conferences, planning and execution.
• Manage relationships with vendors (florists, photographers, rental companies).
• Coordinate catering logistics with kitchen staff or outside caterers.
• Maintain inventory records for supplies and guest amenities.
• Manage budgets and financial records; recruit and train a small team.
