Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a boutique, design-forward mountain lodge offering a truly unique hospitality experience. This is an opportunity to bring your operational expertise, people-first leadership style, and passion for creating exceptional guest experiences to one of the most celebrated destination properties in the country.

Your Impact
  • Be the Heart of the Lodge: Lead operations for the entire property, including rooms, restaurant, bar, and events, ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
  • Inspire & Develop Your Team: Build and mentor a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration, respect, and growth.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee P&L, manage budgets, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead from the Front: Be hands-on — welcoming guests, supporting housekeeping, engaging with the restaurant team, and creating a visible, positive presence throughout the property.
  • Build Community: Partner with local businesses, farmers, and artisans to source quality products and create authentic, memorable guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of hotel management experience, preferably in a boutique or lifestyle property.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams while delivering strong financial results.
  • Passion for hospitality with a hands-on, “never just an office GM” approach.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods (55–60 hours/week).
What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay: $95,000 base salary + quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, telehealth, life insurance, and disability coverage.
  • Retirement Planning: 401(k) with 50% match on your first 6% investment, Roth options available.
  • Career & Financial Support: Zero-interest housing and hospitality school loan programs.
  • PTO & Work-Life Balance: PTO eligibility after 90 days + 4 weeks maternity/paternity leave.
  • Perks: Employee discounts across a collection of boutique hotels and award-winning restaurants.
  • Culture: A collaborative, positive work environment where your ideas and leadership make a real impact.

If you are a hands-on leader who thrives in a guest-focused environment and is eager to create unforgettable moments for both guests and team members, we’d love to connect. Apply today to take the next step in your hospitality leadership journey.
