Job summary

Vail Resorts in the Pittsburgh area is hiring for winter 2026/27 for seasonal positions including TicketChecker on the Lift Experience Team. Starting wage is $20/hr with full-time and part-time hours, and weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must work outdoors in all types of inclement weather
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Must handle high guest volumes professionally

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium guest service by providing information and assistance with a smile
• Validate tickets to ensure guests have valid access before loading lifts
• Work with Lift Operators and other teams to ensure lift lines are managed safely and efficiently
• Maintain and secure departmental equipment (scan devices, radios)
• Escalate issues to leadership as they arise, from safety to products
• Other duties as assigned
