Job summary

Penske Entertainment's Communications Intern will support the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Communications team with PR and media-focused tasks, including announcements, events, and engagement with sports media professionals from around the world. The role collaborates with various motorsport bodies and supports media relations during major race weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in sports PR or communications.
• Understanding of media relations and press material development.
• Academic background in communications or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support PR announcements and events for IMS and INDYCAR brands.
• Assist with media center operations and collect updates for media guides.
• Help build relationships with sports media and support race-weekend coverage.
• Contribute to communications-based projects throughout the year.
• Represent IMS and Penske brands professionally across departments.
