Job summary

Penske Entertainment in Indianapolis is offering a Communications Intern role within the IMS/INDYCAR communications team. You will support public relations and media-focused tasks, assist with announcements, and engage with sports media worldwide during major race weekends.

You'll collaborate across departments, help deliver top-tier fan and partner experiences, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced motorsports environment.

Responsibilities

• Write press releases, media advisories and feature stories for media, IMS.com and INDYCAR.com.
• Assist on statistics and other updates for Indy 500 Media Guide.
• Support media center operations.
• Collect and report media clips on a regular basis.
• Help execute media events and announcements; represent IMS and INDYCAR brands.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the IMS brand and various athletes.
• Aid with media retention and relationships through engagement and experiences.
