Job summary

OSM Thome Limited is seeking an experienced Motorman / Oiler to join our engine team aboard oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will operate and maintain main engine and auxiliaries, ensuring safe and efficient performance while at sea.

The ideal candidate holds valid STCW Motorman/Oiler certificates, has recent tanker experience, and communicates in English. You will work in an international crew, observe safety and pollution prevention procedures, and support bunkering and

Qualifications

• Valid Motorman / Oiler certificates and seafarer documents as per STCW.
• Recent experience on oil and/or chemical tankers preferred.
• Fit for duty with medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with operation and routine maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
• Carry out engine room watchkeeping duties as assigned
• Perform lubrication, cleaning and basic repair work on machinery and equipment
• Maintain engine room housekeeping and follow safety and pollution prevention procedures
• Support bunkering and cargo-related engine room operations when required
