Job summary

Adams County Colorado is seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician to process title applications, issue registrations, and assist the public in person, by phone, and via email. The role requires understanding taxes/fees, adherence to policies, and accurate cash handling.

You may work at multiple Clerk and Recorder locations and several departments as needed. The position emphasizes excellent communication, basic math, and familiarity with Motor Vehicle processes.

Qualifications

• Must read and write at a high school level.
• One year of Customer Service experience is required.
• Ability to become deputized and obtain Notary certification.
• Reliable transportation to reach different motor vehicle branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process title applications and issue motor vehicle registrations per statute, rules, and policies.
• Explain taxes/fees and resolve related inquiries.
• Perform VIN inspections and cash handling with daily reconciliation.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Work at Adams County Clerk and Recorder locations as needed and support Elections/Recording departments.
