Raytheon is seeking junior to mid-career engineers with electronics knowledge to support the design and test of electronic products, focusing on circuit cards and motor control systems. The team designs power electronics from concept to integration, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role involves hands-on drafting, driving schedules, and collaborating with ECAD drafters and senior engineers.

Competenze

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with one or more of the following motor types is a plus: Brushed, BLDC or PMSM.
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools.
• Experience with analog electronics design, including at least one of the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.
• Experience working in a lab setting and/or using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency generators, power supplies and Data Acquisition Systems.

Mansioni

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry for three-phase inverter designs and control circuitry.
• Hands-on drafting and designing at a circuit card level.
• Assist in taking circuit card development through design phases from requirements through integration testing.
• Help define and manage schedules for circuit-level tasks.
• Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers, including layer stackup definition.
