Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical/design experience in a professional setting.
• Experience with PCB design and ECAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, etc).
• Hands-on prototyping (soldering, board assembly, harnessing).
• Experience with controls/actuation, robotics or motor/servo drive systems (BLDC/brushed motor controller design).
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, power conversion and system integration.
• Ability to read, interpret, and manipulate schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Strong engineering first-principles approach.

Responsibilities

• Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across disciplines.
• Identify partners and manage vendor relationships.
• Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of engineering problems.
• Design, implementation, and test of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Lead design reviews and define hardware test plans.
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition to production.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
