Empire Coach Line in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel motorcoaches. The role focuses on engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and DOT-compliant servicing, document work, and collaborate with drivers and management to keep the fleet in top condition. Minimum 2 years' diesel mechanic experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Experience on motor coaches or large vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel motor coaches, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to repair them
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and regular servicing of motor coaches in compliance with DOT regulations and manufacturer's specifications
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each task
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
• Communicate effectively with other mechanics, drivers, and management to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance of our fleet
