Job summary

Toshiba is seeking a Motor Application Engineer to serve as a technical expert for Low Voltage AC Induction Motor products. You will work with customers, sales engineers, distributors, and internal teams to evaluate applications, develop solutions, prepare quotations, and recommend products.

The role emphasizes strong engineering fundamentals, customer-facing collaboration, and opportunities to influence product development and training programs. Travel will be required domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years in Applications Engineering or related technical role.
• Experience with industrial motors, VFDs, or power systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements to recommend Low Voltage AC Induction Motor solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on motor selection, sizing and system integration.
• Support quotation development and engage with customers through the sales cycle.
• Deliver technical presentations and train customers and sales teams.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to resolve issues.
