Job summary

Toshiba Headquarters in Houston, TX seeks a Motor Project Manager to lead medium-voltage motor projects from order through final delivery and acceptance. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, logistics, suppliers, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting contractual commitments.

The role requires strong project management, motor knowledge, and the ability to balance technical requirements with customer expectations. Travel to sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, PM or related field.
• 2–8 years of relevant industry experience in engineered equipment projects.
• Working knowledge of medium-voltage motors or large industrial rotating equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Strong project organization and communication skills.
• Ability to travel ~5–10% for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-voltage motor projects from order to shipment and final acceptance.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics.
• Identify project risks and drive timely resolutions.
• Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project costs and invoicing in line with budgets.
