Job summary

Educational Alliance in New York's Lower Manhattan seeks a full-time Motivational Enhancement Coordinator to support the residential program at a 100-bed facility. You will supervise milieu staff and assist the Clinical Director of Residential Services.

Requirements include a high school diploma with CASAC, 3+ years with substance abuse populations, ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality, and strong teamwork. Benefits include generous PTO, health insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and CASAC required.
• BA/BS in Human Services Field preferred.
• At least three years’ experience with substance abuse population; residential experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Organized, self-motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise program policies, procedures, services and activities.
• Ensure site compliance with OASAS and HRA standards; assist with audits.
• Supervise residential motivational enhancement counselors and groups.
• Oversee facilities, safety, and routine inspections.
• Monitor HRA finger imaging systems and petty cash disbursements.
• Coordinate staff coverage and supervise program departments.
