Job summary

Educational Alliance is seeking a Motivational Enhancement Counselor for their residential treatment facility in New York City. This role involves delivering behavioral interventions, supporting residents in their recovery journey, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with valid CASAC and 2 years of experience in SUD treatment, alongside strong communication and counseling skills. A supportive working environment with excellent benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a SUD treatment setting.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Competency with computer‑based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group behavioral interventions.
• Monitor residents’ attendance at appointments.
• Lead crisis intervention during episodes.
