Job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic School seeks a responsible, energetic, and nurturing PK Classroom Aide to support teachers in a pre-K program for children aged 3 to 5. The role includes assisting with lesson plans, supervising students, and helping with behavioral management.

The position is Full-time hourly, with hours 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, school year 2026-2027, Monday to Friday, with some meeting hours. Requires an associate degree, and a commitment to Catholic education.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in planning, developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
Provide support to teachers in daily lesson delivery.
Set up activity centers and prep instructional materials.
Supervise students in class and during activities.
Provide nurturing environment and assist with student personal needs.
Distribute and collect workbooks; assist with assignments.
Guide independent study and remedial activities.
Assist during lunchtime, toileting and washing.
Enforce cleanup after lunch and model appropriate behavior.
Observe and report student behavior changes to the lead teacher.
Assist with student assessments and evaluations.
Supervise field trips to ensure safety.
Organize and supervise physical education sessions.
Handle records, filing, and photocopying.
Provide one-on-one support for early literacy tasks.
