Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking an experienced Motion Sensing Hardware Engineer specializing in 60 GHz mmWave radar to advance smart security products. You will own radar development from testing to deployment, collaborating across hardware, firmware, ODMs and suppliers.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work in Carlsbad, CA, with a hybrid schedule (~4 days onsite). Compensation includes base 160k–185k, a 20% target annual bonus, and RSUs of 30k–40k per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE).
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and optimize 60 GHz mmWave radar and motion-sensing performance across products and environments.
• Develop repeatable, automated measurement methods and tools for validation on aggressive schedules.
• Work with hardware, firmware, ODMs, and vendors to resolve performance issues and improve sensor technology.
