Apple is seeking an Motion/Location Sensing Engineering Program Manager in Cupertino to lead cross-functional teams delivering MEMS and sensor solutions for next-generation devices. You will coordinate specifications, validation, and integration across hardware and firmware, working with suppliers and system teams worldwide.

The role emphasizes engineering program management, communication with executives, and driving decisions to ensure on-time mass production and high-quality sensing systems.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping semiconductor sensing hardware.
• Background in physics, mechanical, electrical, or materials science engineering.
• Experience interfacing micro-controllers with sensors, embedded programming or signal processing.
• Experience with data collection, data analysis, and statistical tools (Matlab, Python or JMP).
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and align multi-functional teams to deliver sensing solutions and integrate them into new platforms.
• Define the program plan/schedule and manage program execution.
• Help deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process.
• Manage engineering development builds leading to mass production, tracking performance, yield, and failure analysis.
• Work with suppliers and system teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate overall program status to cross-functional partners and the executive team.
• Identify and mitigate program risks.
