Job summary

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium seeks a Motion & Graphic Designer to create engaging motion graphics, videos, and related graphics that support the Aquarium's mission and exhibits. The role emphasizes motion design as the primary focus, with videography and graphic design support, while coordinating with the Creative and Marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong motion-design portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage creative projects from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Two or more years of professional motion design, video production, or related experience.
• Experience with video production and editing.
• Strong graphic design fundamentals and a portfolio of motion design work.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of motion-design principles and visual storytelling.
• Attention to detail, organization, and project-management skills.
• Ability to receive art direction and work independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce motion graphics for digital displays, social media, advertising, websites, presentations, events, and exhibits using After Effects.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, visual concepts, and bring assets to life through movement and compositing.
• Plan and capture video footage for marketing, social media, exhibits, and events.
• Edit video in Premiere Pro with color correction, captions, and audio adjustments.
• Create motion and video content for multiple platforms and formats and adapt for required aspect ratios.
• Apply pacing, timing, composition, typography, and visual storytelling across projects.
• Organize footage and project files; review final content for quality, technical accuracy, and branding.
