Job summary

The Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream seeks a Senior Motion Designer to craft engaging animations for diverse projects. You will apply motion design principles to storytelling, collaborating with the creative team to deliver visually captivating content.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in graphic or motion design and 5+ years in the field, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D tools. Office-based role in Washington, DC with standard weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, motion design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in motion design or related role.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and compositing software (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.).
• Experience designing for immersive multi-LED environments and large-scale LED surfaces of varying aspect ratios.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and storyboards for various projects.
• Create high-quality animations and motion graphics using After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Collaborate with the creative team to deliver compelling visual content.
• Edit video content and apply color correction and sound design.
• Implement VFX elements to enhance video projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and motion design best practices.
• Assist in pitching ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure content aligns with the brand’s vision and objectives.
