Job summary

SCRL in San Francisco (or remote in the US) is seeking a Motion Designer to turn briefs and creator footage into ads that perform. This full-time role can be based in our SF office or remotely anywhere in the US.

You will craft high-quality ads for the US market, animate UI features in After Effects, edit UGC, and build multiple variations to feed our testing engine, collaborating with strategists to turn insights into new creative.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of motion design and video editing for social and performance marketing.
• Portfolio of paid social work with measurable results.
• Advanced in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects especially.
• Understanding of marketing metrics and A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality ads for the US market that hit KPIs and scale tests.
• Craft motion graphics to animate our app’s UI for ads.
• Cut UGC and footage, mix with motion graphics, and ship assets across formats.
• Build multiple variations per concept for testing engine.

The role

Turning briefs, data insights, and creator footage into ads that perform. This is a full-time role based in our San Francisco office or remotely anywhere in the US.

Your day-to-day

• Create high-quality ads for the US market that hit our KPIs at the volume we need to test and scale
• Motion graphics where you'll animate our app’s UI to showcase features and editing flows in ads
• Cut UGC and creator footage, mix it with motion graphics, and ship performance-ready assets across formats (vertical video, statics, carousels)
• Build multiple variations per concept to feed the testing engine
• Work closely with creative strategists to turn performance insights into the next round of creative
• Stay on top of social media trends so our creatives stay relevant and competitive

Who We Think You Are

• 2+ years in motion design and video editing for social and performance marketing
• A portfolio of paid social work, with results behind it
• Advanced in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects especially
• Understanding of marketing metrics, with a passion for building hypotheses and running A/B tests
• Clear communicator, capable of walking teammates and stakeholders through your thinking
• Fast-paced executor who doesn't compromise on quality

Bonus points for

• Background in consumer apps, SaaS, or creator tools
• Deep creative production experience for Meta’s ads platform
• Experience in high-volume, test-and-learn creative environments
