Job summary

DAZN in New York is seeking a mid-weight Motion Designer to create engaging motion graphics and video content for US sports, including NBA, MLB, and NHL.

You will craft dynamic social-first assets, translate brand guidelines into motion systems, and collaborate with editors, copywriters, and global leadership to bring concepts from brief to final delivery. A strong reel and After Effects expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional motion design experience, ideally with sports/entertainment work.
• Strong reel demonstrating high-energy campaigns in sports or similar brands.
• Expert proficiency in After Effects; Cinema 4D or similar 3D tools a plus.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to juggle multiple fast-turnaround projects tied to live sports calendars.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate marketing assets for NBA, MLB, NHL, and more.
• Translate designs into dynamic motion systems (title cards, lower thirds, stat graphics).
• Build sizzle reels from raw footage and assets for various platforms.
• Collaborate with editors, copywriters, and global leadership from brief to delivery.
• Ensure assets comply with league usage guidelines and brand standards.
• Optimize assets for formats across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.
• Stay current on motion design trends in sports and entertainment.
• Support pitch decks with polished motion mockups when needed.
