Job summary

DAZN is seeking a talented Mid-Weight Motion Designer to join our US creative team in New York. You will craft motion graphics and animations for NBA, NHL, MLB content, turning games and moments into engaging stories for social and broadcast platforms.

The role requires 3–5 years of motion design experience, a strong reel in sports or high-energy campaigns, and expert After Effects skills. Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite is essential, with Cinema 4D a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional motion design experience, ideally with sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brand work.
• Strong reel demonstrating sports or high-energy campaign work, preferably NBA/MLB/NHL or similar.
• Expert proficiency in After Effects; Cinema 4D or similar 3D tools is a plus.
• Early adopter of AI tools and workflows to expand creative options.
• Solid skills in Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate marketing assets for NBA, MLB, NHL and other campaigns.
• Translate designs and brand guidelines into dynamic motion systems (title cards, lower thirds, stat graphics).
• Build sizzle reels from raw footage and league assets for social and broadcast use.
• Collaborate with US creative team, editors, copywriters and Global Creative leadership.
• Manage multiple projects with fast turnarounds aligned to game schedules and real-time moments.
• Ensure assets comply with league, team, and player-likeness guidelines and brand standards.
