Job summary
SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Motion/ControlLogix specialist for a 6+ month assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH. The role requires hands-on RSLogix 5000, familiarity with ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix PLCs, and expertise in Logix instructions and Motion.
Candidates should understand Rockwell networks, ladder development, and CIP Motion/Analog Drive technologies (K6500–K300), with preferred Python skills. Additional value for material handling motion applications and RoboDK exposure.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with RSLogix 5000 software.
- Understanding of Logix instructions and Logix Motion instructions.
- Experience with PLC Controllers: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Ethernet/ControlNet/DeviceNet networks.
- Ladder development and debugging skills.
- CIP Motion/Analog Drive experience: K6500, K5500, K6200, K350, K300.
- Motion applications experience, e.g., material handling.
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Product testing experience is a plus.
- RoboDK experience is a plus.

Role: Motion/Controllogix

Duration: 6+ Months
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
- 1. RSLogix 5000 Software Hands On
- 2. Understanding of Logix instructions.
- 3. Understanding of Logix Motion instructions.
- 4. Worked on PLC Controllers (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix).
- 5. Understanding of Rockwell Communication Networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, Device Net).
- 6. Hands on experience in Ladder Development and debug.
- 7. Experience on CIP Motion/Analog Drive (K6500, K5500, K6200,K350,K300)
- 8. Experience on Motion Applications (e.g. material Handling).
- 9. Knowledge of Python programming Language.
- 10. Product Testing Experience add more advantage.
- 11. Experience with RoboDK shall be added advantage.
