Job summary

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Engineering to tailor motion control products, and travel to customer sites ~60% of the time. A Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years in related fields are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required for Engineer title; candidates without an Engineering degree will be considered for Specialist.
- 3+ years of experience in motion control, industrial automation, engineering, application engineering, technical sales, or a related customer-facing technical role preferred.
- Strong understanding of motion control products, applications, and industrial automation systems.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory (approximately 60% on-site).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted technical advisor for motion control applications and solutions.
- Work closely with customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate motion control products and solutions.
- Provide on-site customer support, including product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and product training, approximately 60% of the time.
- Partner with Account Managers to support customer discovery, develop solutions, and ensure effective delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineering and other teams to develop application-specific solutions and ensure accurate specifications.
- Support product selection, sizing, configuration, and quoting based on customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new products and expand relationships within the territory.
- Travel with vendors to stay current on product capabilities and market trends.
