Job summary

Salient Motion, based in Michigan, seeks a mechanical/electromechanical design engineer to design production hardware and test equipment for aerospace and defense sectors.

You will perform design and analysis of electromechanical systems, collaborate across the organization to develop requirements, and oversee contract manufacturers while working with PCBAs and electronics enclosures. Bachelor's degree required and 2+ years' experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering required.
• 2+ years of full design-cycle experience from ideation to production.
• Experience designing for electrical enclosures.
• Knowledge of DFM and GD&T.
