Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Virginia or compact license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS & NRP preferred.
• Mother Baby experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of care quality with management.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Involves staff scheduling and labor management per productivity guidelines.
• Provides input on interviewing, hiring and training of staff.
