Job Summary:

Mosquito Hunters of Cedar Park - Leander - Georgetown is a newly established, innovative pest control company in North Austin. We seek a customer-focused, responsible, and detail-oriented technician with some sales experience to join our team. The technician will perform inspections, identify pest infestations, implement pest control solutions, and provide preventative recommendations to customers. This role also involves promoting our services, upselling additional treatments, and expanding our customer base.

Ground Marketing Responsibilities

• Place door hangers on residential homes (no knocking, no talking)
• Follow assigned routes in Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Lago Vista
• Track the number of door hangers placed daily
• Represent our brand professionally within the community

Technician Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time for all scheduled work days (may include working on Saturdays due to weather conditions)
• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial outdoor and indoor properties to identify pest infestations
• Develop and implement effective pest control treatments tailored to each customer's needs
• Handle and apply pest control chemicals and equipment safely, following company and regulatory guidelines
• Educate customers on preventative measures and pest control solutions
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure safety compliance
• Operate and maintain pest control equipment and vehicles
• Make recommendations to clients

Qualifications:

• No prior experience necessary
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• Hardworking and reliable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay at $18/hour, commensurate with experience and licensing
• Bonuses include:
• End of Season Performance Bonus - $250 (plus $250 on return next season, if applicable)
• Review Bonus ($15 per 5-star Google review, must mention technician name)
• New customer account sales commission (paid monthly for the first year)
• Upsell commissions to existing customers (paid monthly for the first year)
• Referral Bonus - $250 per technician hired and employed for 30 days
