Role Overview

As an Estimating Technician, you will support our estimation and project management teams in winning and executing projects profitably. This role requires familiarity with the HLSI estimating platform and landscape trade knowledge, along with a dedication to quality, service, and character.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate material takeoffs in STACK software.
• Request and input quotes for irrigation materials, site furnishings, subcontractors, and other suppliers into bid Excel files.
• Follow up with clients on pending bids and attend weekly operations meetings virtually.
• Assist in change order proposals, generate RFIs, and maintain bid files.
• Attend daily meetings with supervisors and construction coordination meetings as needed.
• Prepare and submit bid documents for review and update project schedules weekly.
• Manage subcontractor certificates of insurance and change orders.
• Compile and submit submittal packages and complete closeout/warranty documents.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word).
• Knowledge of general construction estimating.
• Fluent in English communication.
• Ability to learn STACK software quickly.
• Strong team orientation and willingness to learn.
• Comfort with various software systems and basic computer skills.
