Job summary

PestCo is seeking a Pest Control Mosquito Technician to provide pest remediation and prevention solutions for residential and commercial properties. Location: West Chicago, IL. Schedule: Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; full-time, seasonal. Compensation ranges from $36,000 to $60,000 plus commissions.

Responsibilities include route management, yard treatments, and customer-facing estimates while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Valid IL license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• $750 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest control experience or pest control license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mosquito control route day-to-day operations.
• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete scheduled customer appointments per company policies and local regulations.
• Serve as subject matter expert to recommend the best pest solution for each customer.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed and maintain equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance and company vehicle/equipment.
