Job summary

Pointe Pest Control, part of the PestCo family, is hiring a Mosquito Technician for a full‑time, seasonal role in West Chicago, IL. You will manage mosquito control routes, perform yard treatments, and provide clear estimates to customers while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and prefer mosquito pest control experience. A valid driver's license, background check, and pesticide license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• Sign on bonus: $750 for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
