Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a Mosquito Technician in Florida to deliver professional pest control services outdoors. You will inspect sites, apply control methods, collect data, and maintain accurate records while following safety procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training provided; health, retirement, and paid time off are offered with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly.
• Experience interacting with customers in service roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect zones for mosquito breeding and larvae by eye and dipping.
• Assess sites and apply control techniques and public education.
• Place and retrieve monitoring devices; record data in GPS/database.
• Follow label instructions, SDS, and PPE requirements for chemical handling.
• Communicate respectfully with residents during service and inspections.
• Operate spraying equipment safely; mix pesticides as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and drive/operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety, spill procedures, and regulatory licenses as required.
