Job summary

San Juan College’s Center for Workforce Development seeks an Instructor to prepare students for the MOS exams and deliver non-credit courses. Remote or hybrid work may be approved for adjunct staff within New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas, with prior approval by the Director and Human Resources.

Instructors are responsible for course development, teaching, and classroom management, and may assist with marketing.

Qualifications

• Active MOS Associate certification in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 and at least 1 year of teaching, corporate training, or public speaking.
• Access to home internet, a personal computer, and telephone is required.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn and use multiple technology platforms to communicate with students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach MOS-related courses and materials.
• Manage classroom activities and student engagement.
• Assist with marketing classes with Director approval.
• Prepare course materials and assessments and provide feedback to students.
