Origin Bank is seeking a Warehouse Lending associate to manage daily collateral processing, notes logging, and investor communications. The role includes preparing documents for takeout, auditing collateral inventory, and ensuring accurate funding transfers within a regulated banking environment.

The position requires mortgage banking experience in warehouse lending, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with clients and the QC team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related experience and/or training in mortgage banking with warehouse lending or mortgage shipping.
• Must read and understand mortgage documents (e.g., Form 1003, HUD-1).
• Compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC and CIP policies.

Responsabilités

• Processes daily collateral and logs Notes in WLS; opens mail from clients and closing agents.
• Reviews and audits mortgage Notes to maintain accurate inventory.
• Monitors aged collateral reports and follows up with clients.
• Prepares Notes and Bailee letters for shipment to takeout investors.
• Processes settlement of incoming wires and allocates funds to loans as per purchase advices.
• Sets up new investors in WLS and links to client accounts.
• Approves loans for disbursement and prepares agency pool documents.
• Attends industry events representing Origin Bank Warehouse Lending.
