Job summary

Jet HomeLoans, LP, a National Mortgage Lender, is seeking an Underwriter to assess complex loan applications and manage a robust loan pipeline. You will apply FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, stay updated on investor programs, and ensure loans are salable while adhering to policy.

Collaborative work with sales, processing, underwriting, and compliance is essential. Ideal candidates possess a VA SAR designation, 2+ years of underwriting experience, and familiarity with TRID, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, and mortgage

Qualifications

2+ years of new mortgage underwriting experience.
Current VA SAR Designation.
Excellent working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC guidelines.
Deep knowledge of federal and state laws (TRID, TILA, ECOA, HMDA).

Responsibilities

Underwrite complex loan applications and manage a loan pipeline.
Ensure loans conform to investor and insurer guidelines.
Keep up with investor and insurer guidelines/programs.
Develop and maintain relationships with sales, processing, underwriting, closing, and compliance teams.
Respond to QA/QC reviews in a timely manner.
Ensure timely closings and meet KRI/KPI metrics.
