Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Mortgage Loan Advisor II to originate residential loans and manage full client relationships from application through closing. You will deliver First Mortgage and HELOC products in person or by phone, balancing sales with risk and client care.

Requires at least 2 years of mortgage origination or related consultative sales experience, strong communication, and knowledge of lending guidelines. Weekend/extended hours may be required to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Must have Mortgage origination experience or demonstrable consultative sales and tailored financial solutions.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills for in-person and phone interactions.
• Ability to analyze financial data and explain product policies clearly.
• Experience building relationships and managing a client end-to-end lending process.
• Familiarity with banking products and lending guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized guidance on borrowing and banking options across client life stages.
• Build and deepen client relationships using bank capabilities.
• Assess client financial needs and recommend suitable financial services.
• Present home lending solutions, submit mortgage applications, collect documents, and update clients.
• Maintain proactive outreach and pipeline management to meet client needs.
• Coordinate with internal partners to deliver exceptional client experiences.
