Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact between Mortgage Forward and clients, coordinating loan-related needs.
• Provide investor reporting to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and portfolio investors.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of agency systems for investor reporting.
• Apply agency and investor guidelines related to investor reporting.
• Back up answering calls from members and address payments and loss mitigation questions.
• Use security measures to verify borrowers and protect against fraud.
• Assist borrowers navigating the servicing website.
• Investigate and resolve borrower concerns with guidance and counseling.
• Diffuse upset borrowers with patience and tact.
• Back up processing payoff requests and lien releases.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal controls.

Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the VP, Servicing, the Mortgage Servicer’s primary purpose is to assist Mortgage Forward, LLC to live out our Vision, “To be the members’ trusted financial partner“. Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members, in alignment with our Standards of Greatness.

The Mortgage Servicer-Investor Reporting specialist is responsible for investor reporting tasks to all investors including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and portfolio investors.

As a Mortgage Servicer – Investor Reporting your duties will be:

• Serve as a point of contact between Mortgage Forward and its clients, working closely with Mortgage Forward employees and client employees to assist with loan-related needs.
• Primary responsibility is to provide investor reporting to all applicable investors including but not limited to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and portfolio investors.
• Strong working knowledge of agency systems for investor reporting
• Strong working knowledge of agency and investor guidelines related to investor reporting
• Act as a backup for answering incoming calls from members and process their questions and inquiries including but not limited to payments and loss mitigation opportunities.
• Utilize appropriate security measures to identify borrowers and protect against fraud.
• Assist borrowers in navigating servicing website.
• Investigate and resolve borrower concerns, providing appropriate advice and counseling to borrower inquiries and problems.
• Effectively diffuse upset borrowers and situations with patience and tact.
• Act as a backup for processing payoff requests and lien releases.
• Assist with other ad hoc projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations, and following all of Mortgage Forward’s policies, procedures and internal controls.

Requirements needed to be part of this team:
