Town & Country Credit Union in Minot, ND is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to guide residential loan applications from application through closing. You will collaborate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, Closing staff, borrowers, and real estate partners to ensure files are complete, compliant, and moving forward on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year of experience in a financial institution is preferred, with mortgage lending/processing experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending principles, terminology, documentation, and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process mortgage loans from application through underwriting, final approval, and closing.
• Collect, review, and verify borrower and third-party documentation.
• Follow up to obtain outstanding information within established timelines.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Review loan information, verify AUS findings, and reflect data accurately in Encompass.
• Obtain and organize documentation to satisfy conditions before final approval and closing.
• Monitor pipeline, deadlines, and communicate status to all parties.
